My Story

I’m Rob, one of the creators behind SuperGamerPals and a lifelong fan of games that make you shout at your telly in both joy and confusion. I spend most of my time making content, streaming, tinkering with 3D prints, and trying to convince my PC that updates can wait until after the stream.

Little known facts about me

  • I once beat a PS1 boss using only telepathy. The controller refused to make eye contact afterwards.

  • In 2017 I briefly held the world record for opening the most packets of crisps at once. It was later disqualified because I only used one hand.

  • I can predict when a loading screen will finish with eerie precision. Sadly, this has never helped in real life.

  • I possess a sixth sense that allows me to find the only Lego brick on the floor, even in total darkness.

  • I once streamed for so long that my chair tried to negotiate working hours.

  • If you say “SuperGamerPals” three times in a mirror, I appear behind you holding a PS1 memory card and asking if you’ve saved.

  • Croc once sent me a handwritten thank-you letter for services to gobbo welfare. A very small postman delivered it.

  • I invented a new type of pasta in 2022. It was banned shortly after due to aerodynamic concerns.

  • I have fixed a broken computer by giving it the sort of disappointed stare usually reserved for children throwing food.

  • If you’ve read this far, I probably owe you a biscuit.
